About the Tutor: Len Whybrow

Len Whybrow has been a photographer for 18 years. He was educated at Bournemouth Arts College. Having a Fine Art background, he has taught drawing and painting as well as all aspects of photography and video.

Our courses provide an opportunity for students to learn and develop skills, techniques and to acquire an understanding of the subject. Tutors will use a variety of methods including demonstrations, instructions, one to one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques. Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are experienced artists.

Your tutor will monitor your progress against the outcomes of the course using an Individual Learning Plan. You will get to add your own goals to this document so that you can see what progress is being made. Your tutor will offer you support and guidance on how you can achieve your goals and improve your skills and technique.

You will need to own or have access to a digital camera whcih you will need to bring to each lesson. A notepad and pen might also be helpful for taking notes.

During your course, your tutor will offer guidance in your personal progression route.
Courses are designed to progress students to higher levels of the Art. In addition, our courses support application to "Access to Degree Foundation courses" leading to Higher Education opportunities.
