THIS COURSE IS FACE TO FACE AT TONBRIDGE LIBRARY.
Essential Digital ICT skills at Pre Entry - Entry 1 level is a new course that will enable learners to demonstrate the ability to apply ICT knowledge and the skills to complete tasks in real-life contexts. You will gain confident in use of the knowledge and digital skills in a safe and responsible way.
At Pre Entry - E1, students will learn to
• use devices and handle information
• create and edit
• communicate
• be safe and responsible online
Students should be able to have basic reading ability and follow instructions at PE-E1 level. There will be 1-2 hours of work to be done between classes- usually linked to developing ESOL skills i.e. listening/reading tasks
Please note: this course will require regular attendance.

How will I be taught?
The course will be taught in a friendly but focused atmosphere, where your individual needs are catered for. Your tutor will use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and ensure that you achieve your full potential. Teaching and learning are carried out through formally taught sessions, discussion, group work, and supported with role play, task sheets and resource books, home study, feedback and evaluation.
Computers are provided.
What do I need to bring with me?
Notebook, pens, pencils and a folder. Your tutor will advise at the first session.
