This course is for health care workers who wish to progress to the nursing profession. It is an access course to bridge skills gaps in maths for IT before going on to a functional skills maths course. It will give you skills in Excel. It is delivered in a virtual classroom for 1 hour per week followed by an hours learning at home on a learning platform. This is designed to support classroom learning and consolidate skills. The tutor will feedback on all work done at home and provide constructive advise on how to move forwards.
When the course has completed the learner can enrol onto the next stage with a Functional Skill accredited course.
