This Studio Photography course is aimed at those who already are confident photographers and wish to add another string to their bow. The course outlines the basic kit required to set up your own fixed or mobile studio and then concentrates on the fundamentals of setting up and shooting in a studio environment. We will create a studio in the Amelia Scott building and a model will be available in the afternoon. We will be specifically focussing on composition and lighting techniques.

You will be able to use the studio set up to take pictures of still life and real life subjects and put together a concise portfolio of images. You will have the opportunity to photograph your own still life objects if you desire.
By the end of this course you should be able to:
- Understand how to set up and use a small photographic studio
- Understand how to use your camera in tandem with external lights
- Use studio lights to light your subject in multiple ways
- Take well lit product shots with neutral background
- Take well lit portrait shots of a clothed model
