This Course is taught at the Amelia building in Tunbridge Wells
Do you want to practise your Spanish for an hour, focusing on practical dialogues when travelling to Hispanic Countries? For one intensive hour each session, students will be able to practise their conversational skills in a relaxed atmosphere on practical topics. The course is aimed at accommodating students from different levels except absolute beginners. Individual learners are invited to contribute at their respective level, in small group and to activities in plenary.
Successful students will be able to:
- listen to other students in order to prepare own contribution to the conversation
- ask for repetition
- use a selection of phrases for expressing opinions or for agreeing/disagreeing politely in Spanish
- use new vocabulary learnt during sessions
- improve in accuracy, fluency and speed of speech according to individual level.

How will I be taught?
The focus will be on oral communication (speaking and listening). Students may converse in pairs or groups, with participants of different levels and skills with the aim to encourage everyone to contribute and progress. Pronunciation is an integral part of the course. The course will be conducted in the foreign language.
A brief Initial assessment will be carried out at the beginning of the course to assess individual skill level. You will record your starting point on your Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and set targets. You will revisit regularly during the course to monitor and record your progress. Your tutor will feedback orally.
What do I need to bring with me?
Students can bring a pen and paper but the aim is to practice speaking for the full hour with no writing or books.

What do I need to join the course
The course is suitable for beginners who have started to learn on a Beginners course with us or on an online App, and who want to practise basic sentences on presentations.
