This drawing course in Sevenoaks is for those who wish to learn how to mix colours.
By the end of the course you should be able to: -
Demonstrate an understanding of the Colour Wheel
Demonstrate an understanding of Complimentary and Harmonious Colours
Mix colours such as greens, flesh tones, greys and nuanced colours.
Achieve a sense of distance in pictures using warm and cool tones,
Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Victoria Wainwright
Victoria Wainwright is a professional Artist and Illustrator specialising in pen and ink and printmaking but with a varied background in illustration techniques and briefs. She regularly undertakes commission work where illustration is a feature, and has illustrated a number of published books. Victoria's main interest is in drawing people, capturing their movement and character.
How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including looking at artists, demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring any materials that you already including paint brushes, paper and paints. It can be watercolour or acrylic. If you don’t have any we have some materials that you can borrow.
