This course will provide an opportunity for students to learn, apply and extend skills and techniques. There is a structured but relaxed learning plan which will identify your individual needs to help you reach your goals as you continue to practise and develop skills, working from observation and imagination, including keeping a sketchbook and applying the formal elements of art and design.
Please note that this is the online option for a dual delivery course, running simultaneously with an in-centre course delivered by Angela Wooi.

Who is the tutor?
About the Tutor: Angela Wooi
Angela Wooi is an artist and illustrator. She graduated from Wimbledon School of Art and UCA with a BA Hons in Fine Art.
An award winning artist, she works in mixed media, using drawing painting and collage and also designs costumes . Her background in theatre design and creative direction gives her a unique edge within her creativity. She is a founder member of the arts cooperative Making Art Work based in Maidstone. Her teaching style is structured but fun, challenging and exciting .
How will I be taught?
Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques.
What do I need to have with me?
All students should bring an A4 sketchbook of good quality cartridge paper, preferably with a hard cover and ring bound and a variety of pencils.You will need to provide your own materials and these will vary in cost according to the course requirements. Some of our centres have their own ‘shops' where you are able to buy things at competitive prices.If you have any materials/equipment that might be appropriate please bring them with you.

What do I need to join the course
This course is for those with experience of watercolours.
It is important to note that art courses are practical and require a degree of manual dexterity for you to participate fully and get the most out of the course.
