How will I be taught?
A variety of teaching strategies will be used. Learner participation will be through individual, pair and group work. Internet resources may be used. Initial assessment is carried out at the beginning of the course to assess individual skill level. Each student's starting point is recorded on an Individual Learning Plan (ILP) and targets are set to aid development of the skill. These are revisited from time to time during the course to monitor and record progress.
What do I need to bring with me?
Students will need a copy of the Cambridge Latin Course book 2 after the first class. We advise students not to purchase other books or expensive materials until after the first class unless otherwise advised. Students should bring a pen and paper and an A4 ring binder for handouts.

There is no qualification but this course can provide students with the basics needed for further study or to go on to study for a qualification
