How will I be taught?
Craft courses provide an opportunity for you to learn and develop skills, techniques and understand how to design for a chosen craft. Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstration, instructions, one-to-one tutorial guidance, group discussions and critiques.
Our courses are taught by qualified and experienced tutors most of whom are practising craftspeople.
What do I need to bring with me?
Small sharp embroidery scissors, Sashiko needles (or milliners straw needles), ruler and non-permanent fabric markers suitable for both dark and light coloured fabrics, fabrics and threads for projects or samples.
Your tutor will bring a selection of suitable specialist fabrics and threads which may be purchased for your first samples. Alternatively these may be purchased in advance from Euro Japan Links ltd – mail order only via the internet
A note book and pen will be needed for most sessions.
What can I do next?
Further Art or Craft courses with KAE.
