How will I be taught?
A tutor will guide you through the workshop with demonstrations, along with one-to-one feedback, allowing you to develop technical proficiency and confidence in basic glass fusing, jewellery design and creation.
Apart from you keeping a workbook, the tutor will discuss your progress with you and will help you to record this in an Individual Learning Plan.
What do I need to bring with me?
Materials will be provided. Novices please do not purchase specialist tools before the start of the course. Glass cutters will be provided.
Health and Safety:
You must wear closed toe shoes
All masks, gloves and ear defenders will be supplied if necessary
No drinks are allowed in the studio because of the possible risks of contamination.
What can I do next?
Courses are designed to progress students to higher levels of the craft and also to support application to Access to Art and Degree Foundation courses or relevant Craft, Art and Design Degree courses. For more information please go to www.kentadulteducation.co.uk
What do I need to join the course
All are welcome however a degree of manual dexterity will be required.
