About this course

There's nothing nicer than fresh pasta, but what if you could make fresh pasta whenever you liked at home in just minutes? You can!

Come and learn the art of pasta making at home, from the basics of creating a good dough to making shapes, flavours, dyes, cooking and serving.

By the end of the course students will be able to:

1) Make a basic pasta dough
2) Roll out pasta dough to a suitable thickness for cutting
3) Make a variety of pasta shapes
4) Start to add flavours and colour to basic pasta dough

Please be aware this is not in a working kitchen.

How will I be taught?

Tutors will use a variety of teaching methods including demonstrations, one to one guidance, group discussions and critiques.
You will monitor your progress against the outcomes of the course using an Individual Learning Plan. You will laso have the option to add any personal learning goals you have to this. Your tutor will assess your learning as the course progresses and will offer advice and guidance on your progress.

What do I need to bring with me?

Everything will be provided, please bring a tupperware or plastic container to take your pasta home in.

Your tutor will discuss the options for continuation with you. We also have a range of other cookery courses that you could try.

What do I need to join the course

No previous knowledge or experience is required.
Everybody is welcome. If you love cooking and want to look at new ideas for meat free meals then this course is for you.
